Our Story
Hello, I am Andrea Kaufmann and I have been an English lab lover all my life and one of my dreams was to breed beautiful, healthy English Labradors that meet the bred standard. I have spent most of my life in West Grove, PA. For six of those years, I lived in Germany where I met my German husband. We moved back to my hometown in 2011 and brought with us two English labs, Bess and Pollo. Two pure-bred, champion line English labs.
Unfortunately, we lost our boy Pollo over the Summer of 2024. He was 16 and had a wonderful life and we miss him everyday. We have five beautiful girls, from our oldest Bess, Anna, Honey, Cass, and our youngest Brie. We have two twin kids, Michael and Samantha. Our little lab lovers and helpers, who help with the puppies, brush the dogs and take walks with the dogs. All five of our labs, from 13 years old to six months old are part of the family, they are loved, spoiled and well taken care of. They are couch/bed potatoes, who have two acres of yard to explore and a pool.
At Kaufmann English Labrador Retrievers we have family, well-mannered English Labrador retrievers. We are dedicated to the English breed by ensuring that the breeding parents are AKC registered and from champion line dogs. It is a priority that the mated dam and sire undergo health clearances with the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for hip and elbow dysplasia, eye disease and congenital cardiac disease. The goal is to stay true to the breed and give lab lovers family-friendly, beautiful, healthy English Labrador Retrievers.
